A Social Experience This website was the first to fully integrate the reach and opportunity of social media for one of the nation’s biggest music festivals. In addition to promoting ticket sales, festival highlights, and band bios, the new website provided users the functionality to connect through Facebook, register and create a fully-customized profile and 3-day “must see” line-up, which they could then share to their Facebook or Twitter feeds. Festival-goers could also build playlists, listen to and “favorite” bands and explore the interactive festival map. A corresponding email template and mobile version were also developed to create a seamless user experience.
